Services & Fees
Therapy Sessions
All psychological therapy sessions run for 50 minutes and are held online, either via video consultation or telephone. Sessions can be accessed through Medicare, DVA, or private payment.
How it works
-
To access Medicare rebates for psychological services, you must have a Mental Health Treatment Plan (MHTP) from a GP, or a direct referral from a psychiatrist.
Please note that as of 1 November 2025, a GP can only prepare a MHTP if they are your usual medical practitioner or at your nominated MyMedicare-registered practice. Your usual GP is one who has provided most of your care over the past 12 months or is likely to provide most of your care over the next 12 months.
With a MHCP, you can claim Medicare benefits for:
Up to 10 psychology sessions per calendar year (1 January – 31 December), depending on clinical needs.
Initial treatment courses generally include up to 6 sessions, with 4 subsequent sessions available following a review by the referring practitioner.
Please see this Better Access fact sheet – patients for further information.
How to book an appointment
New clients can either send an inquiry through the contact form below or book a 15-minute introductory phone call. There is no pressure, this is simply an opportunity to see whether working together feels like the right fit. Before the first appointment, you’ll receive an intake and consent form outlining the services and what to expect.
Existing clients can book sessions directly here.
Fees and payment
Fees (as per the fee schedule below) are payable at the end of your appointment.
Once payment has been received, Inner Grove will process your Medicare rebate on your behalf. Rebates are usually deposited directly into your nominated bank account immediately, but can sometimes take 24–48 hours. To help ensure smooth processing, please make sure your bank and Medicare details are up to date.
-
I warmly welcome veterans to Inner Grove. If you have DVA coverage, you may be eligible for psychology sessions through a DVA Mental Health Referral from your GP.
Your GP can assess your eligibility and provide the referral, which typically covers 12 sessions per treatment cycle. Once you have the referral, you can book your sessions.
For guidance on eligibility or referrals, you can also contact DVA directly on 1800 550 457.

Fees and payment
For privately funded sessions, the full fee (as per the fee schedule below) is payable at the end of your appointment. When accessing therapy privately, no information is shared with your GP unless you request it.
Therapy Session Fees
I aim to keep therapy as accessible as possible. My fees are set below the Australian Psychological Society National Schedule of Recommended Fees, which suggests $318 for a standard 50-minute consultation.
| Day / Time | Total Fee | Medicare Rebate* | Gap Fee* |
|---|---|---|---|
| Weekday | $200 | $145.25 | $54.75 |
| Saturday | $230 | $145.25 | $84.75 |
| Sunday | $250 | $145.25 | $104.75 |
*The Gap Fee is the out-of-pocket cost to you when you have a valid Mental Health Care Plan (see further information in ‘how it works’ above).
Cancellations
Please provide at least 24 hours’ notice if you need to cancel or reschedule your appointment. Cancellations with less than 24 hours’ notice incur a $100 fee (50% of the session cost). Emergency cancellations will be considered on a case-by-case basis.
Clinical Supervision
I provide reflective and supportive Board-approved clinical supervision for psychologists and mental health practitioners. My goal is to create a safe, compassionate space where you can openly explore your practice, reflect on your experiences, and work through ethical or clinical challenges without fear of judgment.
Supervision sessions run for 60 minutes and cost $200 per session. I understand that meeting supervision requirements can sometimes be challenging and costly. If you are under financial pressure, we can discuss negotiating fees for ongoing support to make this more manageable.
Before starting supervision, please schedule a free 15-minute consultation to discuss your needs.
Critical Incident Response
I provide critical incident response (CIR) services for organisations and workplaces following traumatic or high-impact events. Services are tailored to the needs of the organisation and workforce. Please contact me directly to discuss availability and support.
